CENTRAVIS follows the corporate social responsibility principles since the very first days. The Company has successfully implemented social investments program aimed at development of economic and cultural potential of Nikopol and Dnepropetrovsk region. CENTRAVIS provides funding of social programs in four key areas: contemporary education of youth, support of disadvantaged groups, particularly, orphans and children with special needs, development of medicine and health, and corporate volunteering. The total volume of investments aimed at social and cultural development of the region amounted to more than UAH 5 000 000 during the period 2008 – 2016.

Our projects

"My profession is my pride"

The demand for working professions has been discussed for many years at all the management levels as well as in all business area. Training of young specialists of working professions has become an extremely important today. Vocational and technical education in the country should be linked to the needs of the region, business and investments - as the relation is the tightest.

Social Partnership of the Company with Nikopol Professional Training Center became an effective platform for training of qualified specialists in the field of metallurgy industry as well as has found a real connection with the economic and social institutions and, above all, with the employers. Within the framework of this project, the premise and workshop for training of rolling mill operators were designed in NPTC. The premise for theoretical training of operators is equipped with up-to-date computers and multimedia complex as well as is provided with training programs for this profession. Upon receipt of theoretical knowledge, students consolidate them in the workshop.

Opening of this complex became a significant event in the life of a professional training center.

The knowledge received in newly created premises will enable the students to try to apply them in production and, if desired, to continue their education in the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, in which the Company has created an audience named after S.V. Atanasov, and pays an annual scholarship to four best students of the Department for Metals Heat Treatment.

"Medical institutions"

Within the last eight years, CENTRAVIS invests in the development of medical institutions of Nikopol on annually basis. Annually, UAH 600 thous. are spent only for purchasing of diagnostic devices and equipment for urban hospitals and clinics. Since the beginning of 2016, the rehabilitation center with a treadmill and physiotherapy equipment was established in the 4th City Hospital, laboratory equipment was purchased as well.

Last week, the gifts from CENTRAVIS were accepted by the specialists of Nikopol Primary Health-Care Center. Extremely critical and necessary laboratory equipment, scales and destructors for the kids, the lack of which is observed in family ambulance stations of the city.

Particular attention is paid to the maternity hospital and children's city hospital. Their set of required equipment was added with the help of our Company. We have purchased an oxygen concentrator, ophthalmoscope, pulse oximeter, fetal monitor, doppler, syringe pump and electronic scales for newborn children.

Since the beginning of 2016, the 1st city hospital has received the required equipment for operating room, intensive care department and laboratory: medical aspirator, operating lamp, tent display, microscope and laboratory centrifuge.

Regional Hospital n.a. Mechnikov and military hospital taking wounded from the area of ATO, were provided with oxygen concentrator, medical ventilator, Stimupleks neurostimulator, infusion pumps, multi-functional beds and spare parts to medical ventilator.

"School of future"

Six up-to-date computer classrooms with multimedia equipment in schools number 1, 10, 19, 13, 20 and the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine were established in the framework of the program.

"In a family circle"

Care of orphans, children under guardianship as well as children with special needs is one of the key focuses within the Company's social responsibility. In this direction, greetings of children with St. Nicholas Day have become a tradition, where350 small Nikopol citizens watching a fairy tale with pleasure and get sweets. Moreover, the Company's volunteers visit up to 100 children from socially disadvantaged groups.

Annual trips to the circus of Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye with a visit to the cafe are a real event for children with special needs, studying at home. This is a unique opportunity to talk to the peers and immerse in the atmosphere of fun.

Social Responsibility of the Company in the region of presence is extended greatly. We are sincerely convinced that we are moving in the right direction and we invite everyone to join our volunteer team!
