Import of steel pipes and tubes to U.S.

Here, our U.S. entity was listed as a potential importer concerning an action recently filed with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission to investigate possible antidumping and countervailing duties for seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from the Czech Republic, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and Ukraine. Centravis does not import into the U.S. products under the investigation and will not be participating in the investigation or completing an importer questionnaire as a result.

We believe that Centravis was inadvertently included on the list of possible importers based on possibly inaccurate public harmonized schedule (HS) data reviewed by the petitioner. Stainless steel pipes and tubes produced by Centravis are not within the scope of this investigation.
