CENTRAVIS receives approval from Alstom Power
CENTRAVIS, a leading global supplier of high quality solutions in the segment of seamless stainless tubes & pipes, has been certified and included on the approved manufacturers list (AML) of Alstom Power, one of the world’s leading providers of components for power generation including: boilers, steam turbines and gas turbines, wind turbines, generators, air quality control systems and monitoring and control systems for power plants, as well as related products.
“While CENTRAVIS is already working with a number of companies in the energy, construction, and oil & gas spheres, our inclusion to the Alstom Power purchase system is a very important step for the Company’s promotion in the European market,” says Head of Centravis Strategic Marketing Unit Peter Gorban. “Cooperation with Alstom Power not only helps strengthening our position in power machine building, it will also raise the prospect of attracting additional project orders in power generation.”
Alstom Power is a business section of the French multinational engineering company which holds interests in the electricity generation and rail transport markets. According to the company website, in 2012–2013 Alstom had annual sales of €20.3 billion, and employed approximately 96,000 people in around 100 countries. Alstom manufactures railway locomotives, various trains, trams, power equipment, and electrostatic precipitators for industrial production, and is possibly most well-known for its TGV and AGV series of high-speed trains.
