Prospects for new contracts: CENTRAVIS at SSW exhibition in Maastricht
CENTRAVIS, the world’s leading supplier of high-quality seamless stainless piping solutions, participated in one of the key industry events Stainless Steel World Conference & Exhibition 2015 held in the Dutch city of Maastricht from 17 to 19 November 2015.
Despite the difficult market situation, the event attracted a record number of participants – 288 companies from around the world have presented their products.
“CENTRAVIS’s booth was especially popular. We have conducted several dozen of meetings with our current and potential customers,” says Peter Gorban, Head of Strategic Marketing and Sales Development in Product Management at CENTRAVIS. “In terms of product segments clients were especially interested in our ability to produce duplex, super duplex and alloy 625. Among the customers the most active were representatives of automotive industry, energy and oil companies from the EU and the Middle East.”
“Clients were also interested in the situation in CENTRAVIS, as well as general political and economic situation in Ukraine,” says Igor Marfut, CENTRAVIS’s Sales Coordinator in Europe. “Our decision to use an independent auditor for external reports on the state of affairs in the Company was absolutely right. At the stage of conflict escalation in Eastern Ukraine, we published reports weekly. At the moment, the report comes out on a monthly basis and is available on our corporate website. It is prepared by an international auditing company Bureau Veritas. We plan to continue to inform customers about current activities in the Company and general situation in Ukraine on a regular basis. We want our customers to understand that we are moving in the right direction, we continue to invest in development, which is the best evidence of our trust in business and the country where the Company operates.”
Stainless Steel World Conference & Exhibition took place in MECC in Maastricht (Netherlands). The event was attended by the leading companies from around the world. Expert meetings and conferences were also held in addition to exhibition itself .
