Centravis Production Ukraine - the leading national producer of seamless stainless steel tubes & pipes has signed several major contracts for NPP steam generator tubes supply for more than $ 20mln since the beginning of the year.
Tubular products under these contracts are planned to be supplied by the end of the year to Russian nuclear power companies constructing NPPs throughout the world. Centravis 2013 total product portfolio for NPPs has already amounted to more than $30mln, which is twice as much y-o-y basis.
Steam generator tubes are high-tech products – the core structural component of modern NPPs. It is important to note that mother tube extrusion technology, as well as modern heat treatment methods based on protective hydrogen are applied in Centravis. Due to investment into modernization of production facility and optimization of technology Centravis maintains leading position in the niche market and extends manufacturing capability for the high-tech products.
